Body wash is one of those items you love. It’s hard to find one that has just the right soap, smell and feel. All body washes from the store have so many chemicals in them and we slather them all over our bodies. I wanted something different for my family.
Our homemade body wash recipe gives your skin a great feeling, refreshes you and cleans you without harsh chemicals.
It took me several tries to get this recipe just right. My husband likes a lot of lather and unfortunately, that’s the part that has the most chemicals. I played around with the increments of ingredients until we got just the right consistency.
We buy our products at Good Measure Market, but if you aren’t local we recommend Amazon. We have provided links below to all the products it takes to make this recipe. It’s easy, simple and we are certain you’ll love this homemade body wash recipe!
This recipe makes about 8 ounces. So we make 4 batches and keep in a Dr. Bronner’s bottle with a pump in the shower. As this recipe has essential oils in it, glass bottles would be better, but they are not conducive to showers. I’d certainly knock it off the shelf, drop it and shatter it!
This recipe is great for household use and can even double as shampoo. Stock up on supplies and even make some scented body wash to give away as Christmas gifts! Please let us know what you think and what scents you enjoy putting in yours.
We enjoy Purification and Lemon to wake us up in the morning. Some people prefer mint-scented. Others enjoy Lavender. Pick your scent and get to it!
~Until Next Time,
